Asking $14,000 (org. $16,500)

I selling my beloved '04 Disco.

I consider it in excellent condition, cosmetically and mechanically. Several members here have seen (and rode) it recently at SAE (few weeks ago) and earlier in the year at Uwharrie. Its been wheeled carefully. Does not have pinstripes, diff guards however have been tested and passed :)

I do not want to part out pieces of it - rather sell as is to another enthusiast that will enjoy it and that will take care of it.

- 2004, white, beige interior except with black dash.
- 68xxx miles, maintenance is all up to date
- Still under certified warranty (December)
- No leaks

Options/Features: Heated Seats, Dual Sunroofs, Cruise, headlight washers.
Radio: Sony CD Player with direct i-pod/USB interface on the front and a powered bazooka tube in the back. Better than stock sound (I know that isn't saying much :) )

Other Installed Equipment:
- Safety Devices high rack w/ lamp guard bar all coated in Line-X and has the plastic chicken coop flooring. 4 Hellas mounted in front and 1 rear LR work lamp - all wired neatly including quick disconnect to remove rack as needed.
- SD ladder, also with Line-X
- Mantec snorkel
- HLCF Rock Sliders
- QT Diff Guards front and rear (bolt-on)
- OME springs and shocks including front stabilizer
- 265/75 BFG ATs (Maybe driven 1500 miles)
- The Mirage 16s are powder coated black
- Cobra CB (handheld) and 2 FireStiks

Update:

I will also include the following (also for sale separately on here):

- 5 Steel wheels, new in box 16X8, 4.75 BS 120X5 bolt pattern
- 23 steel lugs
- 4 new plastic lug covers from AB ($20 ea on there)
- 1 spare alloy mirage 16"
- Sand / Bridge Ladders - pair
- Recovery gear: hitch block, 2 shackles, ARB snatch strap.
- MaglLite and metal MagLite clips mounted to rear door
- Original head unit and door sub (if desired)
- Other misc parts I find for the rover.

Where are you located, is the underside rust free?

Orlando, FL. Rust free underneath.

I should have time today to take some pics and post.

Thanks guys for all the compliments! I didn't expect to see all the posts, much appreciated thank you. It is special to me and I really do want it to go to a good home with the new owner enjoying it.

Here are links to pics I took this afternoon. It's been washed since SAE, but the underside needs more pressure washing (or lots of driving in heavy rain which we haven't had down here in weeks) to get rid of all the mud spots. Also, the interior could use a more thorough cleaning since I didn't touch that since SAE either except to swap out the front floor mats. (also have a set of rubber ones for the front not shown in pics).

Exterior: http://s42.photobucket.com/albums/e334/m3extrafast/D2 Exterior/

Interior: http://s42.photobucket.com/albums/e334/m3extrafast/D2 Interior/

Underneath and Engine: http://s42.photobucket.com/albums/e334/m3extrafast/D2 Underneath/

Those links should take you to the photobucket albums with all the pics uploaded. If there is an error, please let me know.

Thanks,

Updated with pricing - had to do some research on current market values. I posted a feeler first here, didn't feel it was appropriate to post in tech.

I also updated the listing with more parts that are not installed that I will include v. selling separately.

I encourage anyone interested to drive and see my truck or setup an appointment with LR dealer to check it out for you. LR Orlando is the dealer where I have it serviced.

you will not get $16k for that truck on here.

Whats surprising is that although that might be true on this site, if you look at any other suv/truck they run waaay more and IMHO are crappy compared to LR. So based off that logic i think an 04 with mods in good condition is well worth that price.

Later this evening/night I will post up recent maintanance and items replaced under warranty too. 60K service was done at LR Dealer and the front DS was replaced under warranty too around 60K (before it had a chance to explode). I keep all my records and since I get all work done at the LR dealer (still under warranty), anyone can run a VIN service record too.

Snorkel install (assuming that is the tech comment made?) - done by Stephan Peters with Safari Rovers here in Orlando. If anyone has seen his work, you will know it is professionally done. I helped a little and mostly observed, Stephan did most of all the work involved.

Also has trailer harness and wired to a brake control box under dash. I can explain all the wiring in person and show how that is all done too for a new owner. All the wiring is hidden. Run on the inside of rack then down a small black pvc pipe attached to the snorkel between the A pillar and snorkel. Quick disconnect is under the hood. All fed into a marine grade fuse block mounted inside the bottle jack compartment. Bottle jack works too.

Truck has been off road a few times this year - it was never off road until then. Never abused on trails or broke stuff. Made it a priority to always be able to drive home after each rally especially since coming up from FL to NC would suck to leave it in NC for repairs.

As I think of more I will post.
