1-I'd have promptly thrown my helmet thru his windsheild
2-I would also give the driver's face a get to know ya session with the asphalt
3-the thing that blows my mind is that this is recorded by the driver-why would anyone post such self incriminating footage?

Must be a national take on who's at fault.

Like in the Russian joke - a dude in an SL600 rear-ends the steamroller.
Cops arrive, grab the steamroller's driver, and interrogate him:
- okay, now tell us about your illegal passing on the right and cutting in front of the car...

Or the old police joke "How fast was he going when he backed into you?"

That being said, I've come close to hitting people who have pulled in front of me like that. that driver wasn't on the brakes hard enough to start with.

For around USD80, u can get a device that use SD card for recording onboard. Lots of people are using it here.

The scooter dude, still got a "P" on his plate, which means he got his license within 1 year, and he is not allow to use the fast lane(we drive on the left side of the road) on the highway, he didn't check his shoulder before he switch lane.
I think both will get a ticket since the car isn't going slow neither.

Based on what I saw, it was completely the fault of the guy on the cycle. He never signaled nor did a head check before changing lanes.

The scooterist or what ever you want to call him is incredibly lucky to be even walking. I'm a motorcycle rider and even though I have never had a bad collision, most end up with a helo flight to the trauma center or a ride in a meat wagon. He did not even act as if he suffered a scratch.

It is 70 percent the 2 wheelers fault, the d-bag tuner was up to no good though. The bike didn't signal didn't look and hit his brakes before impact. He showed his motorcycling inexperience, but he is lucky damn lucky watch his head bounce of the pavement. I to am an avid motorcycle rider , and these days no one pays attention, you the rider has to be responsible because you die and they need a new bumper.

Speed limited is 80km/h on that road, so it should be 50mph.
And there is a sign saying that the most right hand lane is for passing only, when he pull out he didn't even had the speed to pass the vehicle ahead of him. And he is with a "P", he shouldn't be on that lane.

Those low power scooters, and the rider is really a pain here. those are 125cc 4 stroke, so u have a good idea how fast those those things are and the rider don't give a shit and expect everyone can stop like a small bike.

that was awesome! knocked his flip flops clean off.

the moron on the scooter jammed his brakes on when he heard the car horn and realized he was about to get a ricer up the ass.

You clearly have no clue. Did you even watch the video?

The rider is very lucky. Hopefully this will likely be an eye opening experience for him. It only takes one of these events to completely change how you ride.

Sorry, I fault the driver for illegal passing on the right. I watched the video, what makes you think I didn't?

My helmet thru the drivers windshield would be an eye opener to how they opt to pass on the right in traffic in the future. It would only take one such ass whoopin to change how they drive around motorcyclists and traffic situations.

I drive. I ride. what.

Don't know about the country of origin, but passing on the right is legal here. The driver was speeding, but the rider failed to come even close to looking...both were at fault.

As for the ass whoopin...don't be stupid...it only takes a second to switch off the camera and finish flattening an idiot that reacts like this...or worse yet, try it here and it will get you shot dead.

Did you notice the rhd jap car?

Did you read this thread at all?

I'm sure there in Asia somewhere, and the right lane is for passing due to the driver sitting on the right

I have both ridden motorcycles and driven cars in Asia. There are no road rules in most countries over there. Just suggestions and recommendations. It is up to the rider or driver to use judgement in there traffic moves. Most people believe in divine intervention especially in SE Asia where passing in a curve is common and acceptable. If there is another car or a bus there, oh well.
I have clipped my outside rear view mirror more than once on cars going the opposite direction. Once in Indonesia on the Harley.
Singapore seems to be the most traffic friendly. Bangkok and Manila are the worst. Laos not so bad, but not many cars.
