Noticed something(coolant) dripping from passenger front.Popped hood and it looks like it coming from radiator fill plug.Is this gasket(fill plug) or bad plug or sign(pressure) of something worse?Runs great and temp. has been normal.

Nice, just hit the spend button about an hr. ago to EE for brass plug(20.00).As if that weren't enough I just touched the OE plug on top of my radiator to see how difficult to unscrew(don't know last time it was off) and the top broke off in my hand.Whats left of the rest of it is still threaded or melted in the threads! Any suggestions or cautions on removing those pieces? The joys of a Rover.

when the top of mine broke off i figured it was safe. it was dark out and i din't notice the plug had a hole in it and when i started up the truck the fluid blew out like a fountain. thats when i went inside and got a brass plug. the remaining chuck came right out with a flat head screw driver, it just unthreaded right out, but i also had bad head gaskets at the time so it was use to being taken it and out all the time

Yeah,I just threaded a bolt(into the remaining hole) with some gasket sealer and hopefully I can drive it to the shop tomorrow without it blowing out or overheating. As long as I had it opened I checked expansion tank and it had coolant but it also had some petrified crud all along the inside so I will have them do a thorough cooling system check.
