Coolant leak

I changed my plugs and wires on Saturday and on Sunday I noticed a coolant drip from my drivers's side. It seems to be pooling and mainly on the drivers side. A while back I replaces the over flow tube and that top area where the shroud screws in was alittle wet at the over flow outlet so i replced the hose clamp. Looked around the outlet on the other side and it is dry. The drivers side of the radiator is dry. Is their anything at the bottom of that side that would crack with me laying on the motor doing plugs? Nothing coming from block just that cornor. Didn't have this leak till I got finished.

Going to look at my rave to see whats down there just wanted to see if anybody else has had this happen.

Thanks,

Eric

You checked the hard thin return line? It is under the top cover of the fan shroud. Loosen the top hose and take the cover off and look at that line, clips to the radiator.

I replaced that all the way back to tank. I've been looking at the rave and that seems to be the only place on that side that could be leaking. I replaced it with the same size hose that was between hard line and radiator.

throttle body heater pipes, check them good, try to move them a bit and see if it spray coolant.

Throttle body heater? Maybe the return line to the expansion tank? Or maybe the gasket itself coincidentally started leaking now? It wasn't really clear to me from your post whether the leak seemed to be coming from the radiator area or the engine area.

Its not on the motor its isolated at the bottom or radiator. I think it would be hard for the throttle body heater to leak and run down to the bottom of the radiator with out seeing it. I'll check it out anyway to be certain. It cant hurt.

Thanks

Are you talking about the hose? Or the part sticking out of the radiator? It may possibly be my hose is just a hair too big and won't tighten enough. It looks like on the rave that the sides are plastic or is it just caps on the radiator it's self.
