Coolant leaking from intake bolt

While working on installing my new exhaust, I've discovered where my coolant leak is. The last bolt on the right side of the intake manifold is leaking into the valley & down the back of the motor. I managed to get a socket on it and it's tight. I redid the top end last summer. What would cause this and can I band-aid it without replacing the the valley gasket? I was thinking remove bolt and use some thread sealer & a dab of rightstuff.

I wonder if it's the intake gasket that's leaking, letting water into the bolt hole? You might be able to band-aide it, but you'll probably have to drain the cooling system to let the rightstuff harden.

That's what I'm thinking / hoping. Probably did not use enough hylomar on the gasket during install. I'l give the band-aide a shot.

You shouldn't need any Hylomar on the gasket, it can be installed dry. You only need Right Stuff at the corners of the lip seals. What brand gasket did you use?

To improve the sealing integrity of the inlet manifold to cylinder head joint a new valley gasket has been
introduced together with a revised fitting process. The new material construction is a steel inner plate with a
black/grey rubberised facing.
The new part is directly interchangeable with the previous part and should be used in instances of gasket
sealing integrity is in question on the previous part.

From a Land Rover technical bulletin.

Same goes for the head gaskets. Land Rover recommends replacing steel gaskets with the composite ones. My guess is that your cylinder heads and/or intake are pitted from where the old gasket was. I've seen that a lot on trucks with the composite gaskets. If that is the case, replacing the intake gasket with a composite gasket will probably take care of your issue.
