Coolant question

About to flush my system. Dumb question but how many gallons does the system & resevoir hold?

Using the premix, I'll start with 3 gallons, and go from there.

2.5 gallons always seems to fill mine up

You won't get it all out unless you use the block drains. 2 or so mixed gallons is what it usually takes.

Burping the system is a whole other topic.

Not planning to pull to block plugs, seems like a PITA. I've got some air in there now. Hopefully I can burp it all out.

Might as well put a new tstat in since you are draining.
