Looking at some Corbeau seat brackets. They say 95-04 Discovery. That doesn't seem right since 94-95, 96-99, and 99-2004 had different brackets.

Which years does it look like it fits?

Nathan at platinum motor sports and myself are working with Corbeau right now to get this corrected and get them made for both the D1 and D2. There current offering is for a 94-95 D1 with manual seats only.

I have a 94' Discovery and Corbeau LG1 seats. That bracket looks nothing like the one I've installed.

Well after talking with Corbeau several times they insist that one bracket fits all of the Discovery models from 94 - 04. Not saying they are wrong.... but hey what do I know. And sadly they up'd their buy in for dealers from 5 seats to 5k.... so guess who isn't planning to buy in.

I went ahead and ordered some seats and brackets. Seats are great. Brackets, not quite.

Just as I suspected, they don't fit, and don't include sliders. Not even close. I even disassembled my passenger seat to see if the stock sliders could be reused, as was suggested by Corbeau. I found they are a welded integral piece of the seat base, impossible to separate.

I'm going to contact them again and see if they listen this time.

Eric, there should be 6 bolts that hold the slider to the seat and 4 bolts that hold the slider to the base. They are definitely not welded on my 97

Is it that hard to just weld up some brackets out of angle and flat stock to stick whatever seat you want on the factory mount?
Brad at RockStar Fab had Acura Integra seats in his '96.

Here's the bottom of my '97 electric passenger seat with all the motors removed and mostly disassembled.

Here's a close up of where the front of the slider mounts to the seat base. Green arrow points at weld.

No it's not that hard. Just wanted to save some time and effort, as I have several other fabrication projects to do.

Also..

I took measurements of the Corbeau bracket mounting holes (approx.): 11-3/8 x 13-1/16

Maybe someone knows what that fits.

I thought you had manual seats. Thats why it doesn't fit.

That bracket looks like it would bolt on to the manual seat sliders.

Manual seats are rare for 96+ and their listing of "95-04 Discovery" still makes zero sense. 94-95 are the same, 96-99 different, and 99-04 different again, and it makes no mention of manual seats. I'll either have to make some brackets or find some rare 96+ manual sliders, assuming they fit. I have a suspicion it actually fits D2 seat bases as I hear the sliders (electric) unbolt from them. Then again maybe manual D1 and electric D2 seat bases share the same bolt pattern which would partially explain their weird 95-04 listing.

I don't think they are that rare.

My 96 had electric and my 97 has manuals. The sliders from the 97 will bolt to the 96 body and vice versa. Bolting to the seat is obviously different, as the manual seats don't have half the movement that the electrics do.

It may be possible that a 95 seat will bolt to a 97 slider and vice versa with the omission of 2 bolts. I haven't compared my 95 to my 97 seats. There are slight differences in construction.

I think they may be correct that it will fit all D1 with manual seat sliders. No idea about series 2 stuff.
