Courtesy Light Wire

This weekend I noticed the dome light wasn't coming on all the time when I opened the driver's door and it also keeps it from beeping if the lights are left on. I pulled courtesy light switch and the wire pulled out of the connector and went into the fender. I've been fishing in there a on and off with no luck so far. What is the easiest way to get into it to find the wire? Any other tips would be appreciated if anyone has dealt with this before.

If I remember right go in thru the kick panel under the dash. That wire was never long enough. See if you can't find it inside the truck and run a new one into that one.

Thanks! I was going to start there but the connector on the switch faced up so it confused me. I will see what I can come up with.

Finally got ahold of it with a magnet and wire hook and then got it close enough to grab with some needle noses. I got it recrimped and put a heat shrink on it so i shouldn't have to worry about it again. It looks like it comes down the A-pillar but it was so short I really couldn't tell.
