what is it with you and $500 italian loafers?
fancy loafers

:D

Look PUNK.... my loafers are far from $ 500.00, but at any rate, at least they look good and stylish, not an abomination like putting ugly h2 wheel on a rover and a Series nonetheless :banghead:

Classic is gone, but talk to me about the Wagon, you said impressive so better be an M5 wagon ;) , pics ? details? what do you want for it ?

that wagon is missing a couple cylinders to be very impressive.

shit, i will take a 180k mile m52 motor over a 20k mile m62 motor any day of the week. 100k check on an m62 includes dropping the pan to remove at least 2 oil pump bolts and locktite them back in. vcg puking, rear intake cover fails, on it's 3rd water pump, drop the trans to replae the $10 water flange gasket, etc etc...bmw straight six was and always be the benchmark for motors.

Joel, call me naive, but he could have 1 ton axle from the MOD Rovers? can he?

That is simply a nasty combo

That is an 84 or 85 110 with an LT77 and a 300Tdi swap. It did have a salisbury rear, a 25yr old, unknown condition one, with stock gearing, no locker and drum brakes. The front axle was a worn-the-fuck-out (never seen one with the knuckles gone like this) 10 spline carrier/suffix B type outer setup. So either rebuild the rear and import a salisbury front (and rebuild it) and then find axle and CV upgrades, and $$$lockers.... or use the Eaton rear/Dana 60 front combo that was sitting there. Which had just been built with 5.13 gears, a spool in the rear and a detroit up front (locking hubs of course). They were already set up to bolt onto land rover trailing arms and radius arms. Hummer wheels were already bolted up with the 37in BFGs.... the axles were begging to be put on this truck!
