Cranks but won't start unless you wait

I left church and drove around for about 15 minutes. It was cold out but the truck was warm. I parked it and went in to get a sub. 10 minutes later I came out and my truck wouldn't start. It turned over and it seemed to start for a second or two then died. Giving it the gas pedal did not help. I tried 7 or 8 times. Nothing.

Called in the cavalry and got home with a cold sandwich.

I came back two hours later and it fired right up.

What the heck...

Fuel pump on its way out?

I thought it might be the pump or the relay that was out. I need to have a pressure gauge with me when it happens again.

And, by the way, no codes thrown and no issues in starting before, so it's totally unexpected.

Probably fuel pump. Maybe flooded because the fuel pressure regulator is ruptured. That would fill the vacuum line to the regulator with fuel.
