I replaced my clock today in my Disco. I can't seem to get the cup holder tray back in. Any suggest! I don't understand how spring works in the back of it or where it goes on the tray.

Thanks in advance

The spring goes on upside-down on the post at the back. The short end slots into the recess immediately to the right of the post and the long end hooks on the 3/4" wide tab that hangs down inside.

Make sure you test the open/close on the cup holder before remounting it in the dash. :D

I had the similar problem, the whole assembly came out in my hands a couple of weeks ago. I have tried to get it back in with no success until today. Trick is just remove the two drawers on each side and then remove the six screws holding the enitre assembly.
Now, take this marvel of engineering into the kitchen and calmly put it back together. Note that there is some relationship that has to be maintained between the cup holder and the tray it slides in. First couple of attempts got it back together, but it would not close far enough in for the latch to grab it and keep it in. Next trick is not loosing the two little geared rollers.
