Custom D1 Rear Bumper

Hey...

Wanted to share "real" pictures of the bumper Jay and I designed for his truck (i'm posting for him as I'm more addicted to online surfing than he is...)...

The design is fairly simple and I have emailed the "Paint sketch" to several members...

Jay positioned the truck graciously for better angles of the bumper :D

Tucked in pretty nice

Bumper offers good clearance

Ties in several areas to the frame (needs frame cutting and welding new "winch cradle"/"mount")

Great clearance - "if it doesn't hang low, it won't get banged as often" philosophy

That's it...

Thanks for Jay for volunteering his rig as a test for this bumper that turned out light, strong, tight, and cheap (compared to the 1000$ ones I see floating around here...)

Cheers,

Nadim

what kind of metal did you use? looks like boxed/plate in the middle then tube off of that? need to make a bumper soon and i like the way that looks. nice job
