There’s really nobody left. A loud sucking sound at the back of all JLR dealerships. I’m pretty sure I’m out. I’m still on the payroll and try to work a few days a month just to stay on it.
I’m old so I think it’s retirement. I bought the old township works propperty. I just hang out and tinker with trucks to flip between the few customers cars I get come thru here.
Everyone that worked for me and with me has spread their wings except a couple people. My employee number was 16 and when i left there were only 2 people left from when i started. I still keep in tough with quite a few. I am getting old too and my shop is just crazy but i just cant stop. Ive tried a few times. Ive been focusing on our @Discoveryracingteam build and so my weekends have been consumed as well.
This week is musical suspensions. Tires off Maleficent to go on the race truck wheels and then on to my wifes new disco (snow white) then her tires and wheels are going on the race truck for rollers, then the salsbury axle is coming out of maleficent and going into the race truck and all the suspension is going on my wifes, the front diff is coming out of the race truck and headed into a rear axle housing to replace the one i stole out of it for someone else then getting swapped with a customers 110 so he can have disc brakes... All this and i have no idea where i left my glasses.
Sorry we hijacked this post for a friendly conversation sidetrack guys
