I just have a 2 inch lift medium load however I don't have a rack or a bumper adding weight. I have deceleration vibrations, I know the angles are a little off I wanted to correct that before I did anything else. I was just trying to steer away from the super loud and ugly terrafirma golden arms lol.Best to buy arms. I assume you have a lift over 3". Best out there is RTE.
This is sort of what I was thinking. I can press them in myself no problem.I used the bushings from Iron Man. Just had a hard time finding someone to install them.
Castor correction is not going to fix vibration on deceleration. If it was a pinion issue it would show on acceleration when the driveshaft is loaded. Pinion angle vibration is the ujoints being out of phase, the joint at one end of the driveshaft spins at a different speed than the other end.. A double cardan joint for the most part eliminates that. You lift is not big enough to neccessitate castor correction at least for alignment issues. I think your barking up the wrong tree looking for your vibration. Can we get more specifics? is it when braking or just when letting off the gas coasting? What speeds is it happening at? Do you have diff lock so you can isolate front or rear or neither by removing the drivelines one at a time?I just have a 2 inch lift medium load however I don't have a rack or a bumper adding weight. Please read up on the post I made.. I found after TF ARMs the front pinion lines up close to the DS necessitating a double Cardon DS.Deceleration letting off the throttle above 70mph. Sounds like a tire rub almost. I have a ATB in the front. The noise developed after the lift. U-joints are fairly new.
