D1 crank position sensor

Like a good boy I searched for anything on remove and installation of the crank position sensor on my 4.0 v8 d1.... Nothing. I need to remove it and reseal it (oil leak from behind)
Has anyone done this? Is there anything I need to watch out for? I'm a good mechanic.

There's no oil behind the crank position sensor - if it's oily, it's coming from the intake manifold & running down the bellhousing onto it.

If you're talking about the cam sensor in the front cover, just change the O-ring and see if that fixes it. It usually does & won't cost much or take much time to try.
