Coming back around to some stuff laying around the garage post Conclave:

-D1 wiper arms w/nuts, covers: good for D2 owners to switch to cheaper blades (nice upgrade before winter hits). $30 shipped.

-D2 heated seat switches x2 (including black cover plate for the window switches and heated seat switches): if you're D2 has the seats wired in and is just absent the switches, here you go. $40 shipped

-Coin holder (fits where the ash tray goes, but instead of the uncovered plastic interior has a covering in it). Came from a D2, fits D1/95 RRC too. Very good condition. $15 shipped

-Ash tray; unmolested condition. Fits D2/D1/95 RRC. $15 shipped

-3 switch carrier(s). Have 2x on hand, will include cruise control and fog switches with each. Fits D1, 95 RRC, & D2. $20 shipped

Paypal to ray.gerber(at)gmail.com, items will ship to paypal addy. Donation back to Dweb for sales upon completion of transaction.

Pics avail on request.

Coming cold front & rain bump, removed homelink as I re-installed into my truck (and then spent a 1/2hr getting it to program...but it works!)

Not to derail your thread, but can you describe what you did to program your home link successfully? Directions in the owner's manual have not worked for me.

This thread is half worthless anyway since I'm selling niche things mostly to assuage my own feelings about full shelves of crap...

So the 1/2 hour is probably a lie, I tried it about 9 times over the period of 3hrs and I'm not counting the time spent online finding different methods. What worked for me:

-Pressed the two outside buttons on the homelink for ~20 sec, i.e. till the solid LED blinked.
-took my remote that was coded for the garage door (rolling code type opener) and held it up to the homelink, pressed the transmit button on the remote and the desired homelink button simultaneously for about 2-3 seconds, blinking lights ensued (garage door goes down b/c of the transmit too).
-Pressed learn code button on garage door opener, run back to truck.
-Press same desired homelink button and hold for 2 sec or so till it blinks, press it again (same time), and again, and again...at some point shortly thereafter the garage door opener and the homelink decided they were cool and I knew it was working b/c the homelink made the garage door function.

I believe that paraphrases what came off here, which was the best resource I found for getting this sorted: http://www.homelink.com/program/instructions/us/5/1/1/_1998/_128/83/0/0/2/0/9/0/0/1/usenglish

Nice thing about the website is you can plug in your vehicle and it gives somewhat specific (or at least made me feel that way) instruction and it worked. Hope that helps.

2 different homelink units and i think the later ones accepted the rolling code transmitters. I think the non rolling code units had a red light on them and the rolling code type have a yellow/orange light.

That makes sense. Tugela if you want to try the yellow/orange setup hit my pm, I've got a spare that you'd have to wire in but works (I tested both units sans plug...long story...).
