D1/D2 Power steering pump compatibility

...will a D1 serpentine power steering pump work on a D2? I know the part numbers are different, have easy access to a D1 pump - thought I'd give it a go before ordering a D2 one...

If you need a d2 PS pump look at Orielly Auto Parts...just recently had to replace mine because the thrust washer broke. They had the best price had to order it took a day to get but was worth the wait.

If the pump is leaking at the center gasket just fix it.
