D1 front seat swap?

My 98 D1's driver seat is a bit soft, but the passenger seat is practically brand new. I want to swap the seats. Both seats are powered (and with same degree of movement?).

Has anyone done this before? I realize the lumber support knob will be on the outside (next to the door) after the swap, but one hardly ever need to adjust it once it is set.

Thanks!

Update...

I finally got to it today...followed RAVE instruction which was quite easy, had to go get a Torx bit to remove the seatbelt and couple of screws.

The 2 fronts seats are basically identical apart from the plastic bits and seatbelt receptacle which you need to swap from one seat to the other to make things look symetrical and original. Also the driver seat has an extra electrical connector for the seatbelt warning light...you need to reconnect it after the swap.

There are no surprises, just got to make sure you are swapping the plastic bits and studs so you end up with the original look.

Why in the world would you do that when all you have to do is get a 7 dollar piece of foam rubber at a fabric shop?
