but the DIIs have that black plastic ring on the inside. can you remove it? don't think so.Sharperover said:

same exact headlight...except for the black on the D2 and the D2 one is made of plastic as the D1 is made of glass..but D2 will fit in a D1 or vise versa...

I've filed a non-paying bidder complaint with eBay on the schmuck who won my auction and never paid for the left front headlight from my '96 DI. and Scott.....what on the D2 light is plastic? they both have glass lenses. the only difference is the black ring. nothing else.
