Good Morning, I'm replacing the oil pump in my truck. I bought the new pump, the pump I got is from Allmakes4x4 with a 'made in china' on the box. Any experience with this pump or should I throw it away, start over and buy something that's higher quality?

It should be fine. Everything is made in China nowdays. That said im going to have to go look at one of the boxes on the shelf ive been using just to see what it is. I remember the boxes changing a while back to a plain white one. One of the reasons i stopped building engines is cheap quality parts. never had a problem with oil pump gears but crank bearings, Cams and Lifters, valve cover gaskets, cam gears... even new out of the box. Makes it impossible to put my name on something quality so i stopped.

Cool, that makes me feel a bit better. I know where you are coming from. I have a white box cam and lifters in mine right now and I know I'm on borrowed time. I did everything I could to break it in properly but who knows.
