D1 on D2 Trailer wiring harness?

picked up a D1 Trailer harness, will it fit a D2 (04)? I'm needing to pull a trailer and don't want a ticket. Thank you for your help.

I'm sure you can make any harness work with a vehicle it wasn't made for. Probably much easier to just do this.
