The quickest way to ad value would be to ship it to the US.

The only part of the show worth watching was seeing him do the Marc Olivares two hammer ball joint removal technique.

They should have stopped at replacing the steering box.

That rack was fugly.

The Disco was in pretty good shape though. Too bad they didn't put in a lift.

And I'd much rather the skid plate and light bar be black. Chrome makes it look goofy.

I'd love to find a 18 year old D1 with nothing wrong but the steering pump. That was the most interesting thing about this episode.

Yeah, they said the rack was for carrying luggage. Can you imagine 7 people plus a full roof rack on old worn out stock suspension?
Even if they didnt lift it. They should have swapped out the springs and shocks.

Wow, so 2 Hella 1000s drilled into my plastic bumper, old worn out street tires, a snorkel, and the most god-awful rack I have ever seen and I too could have myself an expedition vehicle? Count me in.

He said he made $$ but he does not figure in their labor? Anyway, why not do tires and a small lift if you are serious about making it an offroad vehicle

Given the few of the episodes i've seen, they dont do any drastic improvements to the vehicles; more like buy a turd cheap, polish it on the surface and resell. And as you've mentioned, they never seem to factor in cost of labor or overhead.

Polish on the surface is right. I always cringe when the replace shocks or bushings or whatever and leave all the built-up grease, rust, and mud on everything.

The built-up grease, rust and mud is either patina or rust-preventative, depending on where you're standing.

I watch it regularly and can't believe the little profit they get on some of the cars. Most dealers here won't touch it unless there's a couple grand profit. W-D made 269UKP on the Rover.
