D1 Parking Lights???

I just noticed that my Discovery doesn't have the front corner marker and parking lights working when the headlight switch is in either the parking light or headlight setting. The lights due work when they are triggered by the turn signal switch. Now I assume it's gonna be time to break out the "rave" cd, but before I do I wanted to see if anyone else experienced a similar issue? Headlight switch maybe? Dunno my old urquattro would do this from time to time and replacing the switch would fix it? Am I crazy to think it maybe the culprit?

Could be a corroded connection somewhere. All mine work fine (knock on wood) but that would be the first thing I check.

Thanks, I'll look tomorrow for corrosion, but I'm leaning more towards a bad switch. I checked the fuses already, but to no avail...

D1s don't have them. The lights to the side of the headlights are only turn signals, IIRC...

Yeah D1's have small bulbs in the headlights for the parking lights and it offten makes people think I have a dead battery when I have them on. Corner lights are signal only but I have thought about changing them to work as running lights too.

correct. d1 parking lights consist of the "city light" (little bulbs in head light housing corner) tail lights, and the corner front bumper markers.
