Good shape no rust. The feet clamps and hardware are so so. The work fine but aren't pretty. Not including the wind deflector.

Greyhound and Fastenal both offer relatively affordable shipping for dumb bulky items (terminal to terminal and store to store, respectively). Might not need a crate.

It will , but it'll be about 6" short. Normally the slope of the windshield and the slope of the rear as seen from the side line up with the rack, making it aesthetically pleasing. Most people wouldn't give a shit, though.
