IIRC, 764 is a medium-duty rear spring, 763 - extra-heavy-duty rear spring.

They might - but I don't think they will stretch well on downtravel.

With my old '96 D1 I started with medium duty OME springs and their nitrocharger shocks. The medium duty springs were inadequate when heavily loaded offroad so I swapped them out for heavy duty OME springs. With my '04 D2 I went directly to OME HD springs and nitrocharger shocks. While offroad this past weekend, I noticed that one of my rear shocks is leaking after being on the truck for 106,000 miles. Not bad at all. Time to order a replacement set from EE.
