Is it possible to press out and replace the 6203 bearing on the plastic tensioner pulley without breaking the pulley? My tensioner is fine but I want to replace all the idler bearings when I put a new belt on because they have a 100k miles on them and are sounding a bit 'dry'.

I bought a new pulley at Car Quest, made by Gates. I was of steel construction and has held up for 2 years already.

No, it's not possible to change the bearing.

The replacement part I used was a Dayco 89054, same bearing, slightly smaller OD. I believe it's off a 1994 Ford F-250.

I just bought a whole new assembly for 29 bucks. I bought a tensioner, 3 neapco joints, neapco centering ball, and bottle of white shepherd for 85 bucks at advance auto. Use "BIG40" coupon for 40 bucks off 100 plus free ship
