I just got an RTE 3"Hd lift and am now getting ready to buy driveshafts. For the rear im converting the rotoflex to a u-joint. For the front I am unsure of what i need. I was planning on using the driveshaft out of D2. Will this work? i know I will need to change the output flange on the t-case. Will a D2 flange work on a D1 t-case? I found a good deal on one from a 2003 so im trying to figure out if it is the one i need or not.
thanks,
Will

Yup. Just rebuild it with greasable u-joint before installation, assuming you'll maintain it properly and lube it every oil change. Otherwise rebuild it with sealed U-joints and plan on rebuilding it every 50k miles or so.

I'll eventually be going with the Rovertym 3in. as well. I've heard of using the D2 driveshaft, but otherwise I have very little knowledge. Do you use an D2 driveshaft for only the front?....can you use one for the rear as well?....or what else would you use?
