My son has a D2 which throws sporadic engine misfire codes. It's time to jump into what looks like an overly complicated job on D2's so he'd like to do this once. What recommendations do you have when considering full replacement? I think I've heard mentioned Denso has been a very good choice and preferable over OE Bosch. But how about NKG and Delphi?

This is when it helps to have small hands. Make sure you remove the hood before you start. (mark the hinges) There is a great article somewhere about relocating the coils but you would need to replace the wires. It's hard working blind but I have done it with my sone at least twice so it's doable. You have to climb up on the engine so make sure you do not break any of the other brittle hoses while you are replacing the coils. (from experience)

Bosch, Delphi and Denso are all great quality. You will be good with any of those choices. They will last many many years. On D2s usually get Bosch as replacements.
