Hi,
The service exchange takes place through Europe. Many times when you go to buy a MAF at your local parts stockist they can supply new or recon, and in the latter case the old part has to be exchanged. Price may go down up to 50%.
I thought it was already implemented in the US

Well, some more new input
There is a new MAF from Pierburg, listed as a direct replacement for the Bosch unit in Mercs, and I've read somewhere that is a direct replacement for the bosch fitted in D2 as well (so might have the built in temp sensor)

The part no. is 7-22684-09-0 or 722684090 which is the same.

There's the link

http://www.maf-shop.com/product_inf....html&XTCsid=9cd0e0a84fabe731681affc6868ed4a2

And here is the equivalent part number
http://www.maf-shop.com/product_info.php/language/en/info/p106_90.html
Around 99, euros I think should be given a chance, as Pierburg MAFs seem to last more and give better acceleration and MPGs, according to previous posts.
Has anyone tested them?

Best regards
Robert

I've searched but found nothing.

Is there a known part number for a replacement sensing element for the D1's and late RRC's?

Gems Sagem 20am

and

the Hitachi 3am and 5am used with Lucas 14cux?
