Ive got a guy i worked on his truck (2002 D2 w/ SAI) and had a mass air flow fault p0102 and the LR p1171 p1174 stored. I told him most of the time its a MAFS and/or the airbox not fitting correctly.

HE wanted to replace it himself and i would clear the faults for him...

so i did and the same faults came back with in a day.....all 3 set at the same time no flashing of the light just on, no rough running either.

i checked real quick and airbox sits flush and no abnormal wire stuff seen

so to my question...has anybody seen these 3 fault stored at the same time?

ive had plenty with the lean faults and plenty with MAFS faults but not together before

Are you 110% sure those two little tabs at that back of the airbox are on the outside and not turned in? Those buggers can fool you very easily because the box will feel nice and tight.

They also have a tendency for the storage tank on the intake tube to break away.

yeah i know i checked that as well........if i get the truck back ill go poking around with a brake clean can and see if i can find a leak somwhere........its the p0102 fault that is throwing me for a loop though ive seen the p1171 p1174 alot before but not along with the MAFS fault it still might be wiring
