This is a new one for me. After getting everything put back together after a HG job and then a misfire adventure everything is running smooth. I put my iCarSoft scanner on to verify everything was ok and found a DTC listed. It's also not showing any warning lights on the dash.

The code reads 'Permanent voltage supply fault'. I haven't had any electrical problems (so far). When its running my Ultraguage is showing voltage which looks acceptable (13.8-14.2).

The only thing I've been able to find with Google has been a confirmation that the ECM requires a permanent battery level voltage supply and a switched battery level voltage supply. It lists those as P0560, P0562 and P0563. However these don't seem to differentiate between permanent and switched.

It may simply be from having the battery disconnected for the work you did. Have you tried clearing it to see whether it returns?
