D2 seats in D1

I don't know for sure but FYI the 94-95 seats will not fit on a 96-99 DI, the rails/supports are different. You could probably make them fit but they are not PnP.

I remember looking at that a couple years ago when I had my DI and had access to some free DII seats. They won't work. If remember correctly it had something to do with the lower frames and clearances. The bolts holes also don't line up.

if ya got a welder and a couple pieces of scrap metal laying around you can make the brackets for them to fit ...
You will run into issues with the power seat controls and the new DII arm rests. If you want a different seat w/ an arm rest, go for a 95 RRC front seats. Nearly the same thing as your DI seat just with piping and that arm rest.
I have a 94 with really torn up seats and I just bought some replacements that were out of a DII, so I will let everyone know, once and for all, whether DII seats will fit into my DI. At first glance, I am saying no, without some serious modification, but these seats are sweet, and would look great in my truck, so I am motivated to make this work. If it doesn't work, I will have 2 DII seats for sale.
