remove the locking m8x1.25 flange nut and find two regular hex nuts the same size and thread one on, then use the second as a jamb nut. then use the back nut to remove the stud.

it gets wider where it goes into the engine, so beware it wont pull out all the way until you get the pump bracket off the engine and can remove it from the backside.
