D2 Trico 21-11 wiper blades on special

I just ordered wiper blades for $3.79 each at Rock Auto.
Worth it if you're still running D2 wiper arms and want a direct fit.

Ive been using the same pair of Sillblades on my D2 for the last 5-6yrs.. They still look and work like new, but they do squeak if the window is not fully wet.

Out here in AZ I have installed replacement wiper blades and they've rotted out before I've ever had a chance to actually use them.

I know a lot of people slap the D1 arms onto a D2, but what size wiper blades do they run? D1 is 18 and it looks like the D2 is a 20? Just curious as I'll probably take the D1 arms off my 98 D1 parts truck.

take D1 arms for sure. Not only for ease of replacement but they also apply more downward force to the windscreen. Snow and original D2 arms is a no go.

D2 are 21" wiper blades. I had D1 arms and 18" wipers and they just looked stupid and worked half-assed. I went back to D2 wiper arms and they give me better service in the Florida rain - snow is not so much of an issue here.
Anyone want to buy a set of D1 wiper arms?

You can put 20s or 21s on the D1 arms... My truck had 20s on it when I got it, switch over to 18s bc that what the book said it was. I really didn't notice any difference.

21's cool I just noticed the thread title stated 21, but I wanted to make sure that's the size people put on the D1 arms. I remember back in the day being able to buy just the rubber insert blades Anco I think, but I can't find them anywhere local. I used to buy them, cut them and insert them into my 97 Range Rover headlight wipers.
