On Friday I will be towing my truck to Gulches in SC, carry all of my camping gear, several coolers, spare parts, full recovery kit and tool. If things work out I'll be throwing an extra engine in the back on the way to bring back home. I'll be cruising in quiet comfort with ice cold A/C and satellite radio the whole time. While still getting the same MPG I would in just the Rover.

I've seen that trailer at some point on this forum, and I like it. I've come across some steel-bed haulers in my searches that need a little paint, if I end up getting one of those, I'm definitely stealing your idea.

Probably under member trucks. It's a wood bed (stained). I made an aluminum oval and had a giant logo made.

My buddy's 7k trailer didn't handle his disco for long. The axles started to bow causing serious issues with tires and bearings. (and may have stranded us in Wakeeney KS)

Mine is a 16' 10k w both brake axles, brake controller and a WDH. The WDH makes a huge difference in the overall ride and stability. Especially doing 90 MPH through Kansas! (terrible idea, btw!) Worth every penny IMHO.

The LR sign is optional.

What trailer? I can't see a trailer in that picture anywhere.

Cheers,

Kennith

Well, I found a winner. 2005 Cronkhite equipment trailer with 5200lb axles, brakes on both. She needs a coat of paint, but everything else is in great shape. Now I need a bigger truck
