But now he is becomming aggressive towards me & my wife.

There is no doubt in my mind that he would lash out and bite someone if given the chance.

What do you think?

Why in the hell would you even consider risking personal injury, or injury to your wife....not to mention the liability you'll face when this dog mauls the neighbor's baby to death. Shoot the damn thing in the head and bury it.

LOL....didn't see that this was a revival thread.

P.S. I also stand by my previous comments.

I hope tomorrow some dog bites off your tiny balls asshole. I stand by my comments.

Fuck off, chump.

Anyone with a semblance of intelligence knows that you have to temper your compassion with a bit of common sense. Ever seen a child that has been mauled by a pet dog? If you know the dog is a hazard (as stated by you) then you have an obligation to eliminate that hazard. But I wouldn't expect you to understand that...the doggy was just so cute, wasn't he?

Here is another piece of advice for your dumb ass: if you don't want someone's opinion then don't ask for it.

I guess what is disappointing is this Blue didn't get the moral of the story. 2+ years later and this "dangerous" animal didn't hurt a soul. With discretion and disclosure he was in many, many different scenarios with us, friends, kids, etc. No worries. It took a bunch of work and a leap of faith up front, but totally worth it. The instincts that he showed were just amazing. He was such a good judge of character in every situation.

I think the worst thing that he ever did was chew up a TV remote...but that's a dog thing. I wouldn't hesitate to send my wife down the most dangerous of alleys with him at the end of the leash. I woudn't hesitate to let him play in the yard with my sister's kids. Simple as that. Now, this story has a sad end that he will be put down soon due to cancer. If you can't sympathize with that than you're a cold, lonely person and I feel sorry for you.

I probably post on here like every other year so I'll leave you dog lovers with this...

I said up above that I didn't realize this was an old thread. My original comments were based on your statements from 2006, in which you express fear of this wild dog you brought into your home. Not being able to figure it out on your own, you ask for the advice of others. Others advise you to kill it, myself included.

Now 2 years later you come back and say that the evil dog ended up being the best dog ever, he didn't end up eating your wife. Thank God for 20-20 hindsight, huh? I've read the whole story since I posted my original comments and I feel very very badly for saying "Shoot the damn thing in the head and bury it." Goes to show that maybe you should read the whole thread before responding to the first post. I really wish I had read your original post from 2006 and replied with "Shoot the damn thing in the head and bury it" at that point in time. That would have been appropriate at that time, but now it just sounds mean and your feelings are hurt. I apologize.

Sorry to hear, Joe. We've lost 3 since July last year. Age, cancer, and bloat...

Cancer's taken 3 from us over the years. You and your family have our best wishes.

Perhaps mostly, thank you sincerely for taking him in. That was a good and noble thing you did. Showing grace and mercy and literally saving him and his life. God bless ya for that.

Fcuk the people suggesting back then to kill him just because it wasn't easy to keep him. How wrong they were.
