Check the panhard bushings again.
I had the death wobble, changed panhard bushings, death wobble gone. Few weeks later, wobble back, bushings failed. Got some poly bushings the second time, and they've been great for the past year

Check the front wheel bearing preload. Lift a tire off the ground and grab at 12-n-6 and 3-n-9 and try to wiggle. Betting you have some play there.

Probably the radius arm bushings. For me in my 1991 RRC, it's always the radius arm bushings when I get the death wobble. Out of balance and worn tires make it worse and more frequent. New tires can hide it. But for me, it's always the radius arm bushings.

How is this still such a common topic and why do people still think it has anything to do with stupid shit like your steering damper? Swivel pin pre-load, search it, done.

It's still a common topic because apparently lots of people are buying and driving old trucks that were not adequately maintained by previous owners (or current owners, for that matter). There are plenty of resources on Discoweb and in the workshop manual to help home mechanics reset swivel pin pre-load. Having done it myself (actually did a complete swivel rebuild) I can say from my experience it's not a difficult project.

Yep. Had to replace mine twice after the AllMakes failed after a month or two.
Check the swivel pin preload too though.

went back and they told me panhard bushinds shot , replaced them 12 mo ago ordered new ones 17.00 ,two weeks ago every thing was great i could not believe every thing went at once ,will put them in and see ,you would think they would replace that first before replacing everything , and they were replacing all rods etc. Instead of bushings

i just went through this with my 96

Started with the Panhard, then I did the preload on the swivels, and then the preload on the bearings.

I still get a bit of a wobble, but only going 60 MPH on 7% grades.

I thought about writing up a checklist of things to do, but then I realized I was lazy.

Crawl under while someone steers back and forth. Then put on jack stands and do the same thing.

Pay close attention to the bushings you mentioned as well as the steering box

also see if there is any play in the wheel.

As others have mentioned, you should probably check the Preload on your swivels and bearings. Both of these procedures are well documented.
