Hello,
What do you folks think about getting a stock D-90 that hasn't been offroaded needing $$$ for upgrades for offroading, versus getting a totally built D90 that may have been thrashed a bit? Considering the same price for both trucks, which is the best value in your opinions?

If the mods are similar to what you will be putting on, then I would buy the built out one. It would be nice to have some of the weak points upgraded already.

My goodness man, have some patience! I imagine I've got socks older than you are ;)

If you want one, pay for it.....but do you really want one? What do you want it for?

Buy a cheap Disco, wheel with the 90's for a while and see just what it is that the extra seven inches of Disco wheelbase can do for you.

Ours sits in the garage and the Disco gets used up. I don't mind beating on the Disco at all, but I'd feel badly for using up a resource as scarce as the D90.

I've been looking for wrecked d-90s, with a salvage title. Anyoone have a good source? I've been looking at Copart but they rarely have defenders

an aquaintance of mine sells d-90's on his website, landroversforsale.com. i'm not saying they are in your price range, but he keeps some nice ones. redmountainrovers also sells them, but mostly imported ones. and they are ripping people off on those.
