Defender steering wheel on series?

Quick question: will a defender steering wheel fit on a series steering column? Since I got power steering, the big wheel is just too much to deal with. I figure I could get a defender wheel or equivalent.

Thanks.

My home is where my Disco is
You'll be able to fit an early defender wheel, not the latest one. Or maybe a Santana wheel.
My Santana was retro-fittend with a Series III steering wheel so the santana wheel should fit your Series problem-free.
Check here and check the prices.
They are at the other side of the pond, in Iran, but the prices are worth looking at!

Alternatively, this other firm, located in the Netherlands, has also access to Santana and Morattab parts (the late Santana Series IV from the late '80s, early '90s is still produced in Iran).

Take a look here:

Good luck

Thanks for all of the replies.

Unfortunately, the standard "leather wrapped" steering wheel is starting to become a better and better option...even with the $120 price tag.

I was hoping for a momo steering wheel. I thought that would be really cool.

Speaking of which, anyone know the shaft diameter and spline count for a Series 3 steering column? I am currently away from my truck (business) and can't run out there with a ruler and flashlight.
