OK, seriously.

Doable in stock LWB, i.e. I still have an airdam on the front, that I do not plan to take off or lose.

4x4 trails.net looks questionable for me.

Sure, go ahead call me a pussy now. :)

nah seriously. i went back in the summer of 05 with solihull. stock D1 owned by brian (busted_d1) did it. you're not a pussy, i was just trying to drum up interest for people out there still. there is one section that i remember giving issues; however it had bypasses. possible that those are now completely different as this was 2 years ago.

Hey nice site with lots of trails. Those sections might actually give the airdam a run for the money. Will let you know by Sat am.

Did you guys go? I'm traveling through Wy/Co tomorrow-Saturday and would like to find some fairly close to the hwy trails on my way through. I plan to drop down off the WY Interstate just west of Rawlins, then down near steamboat or winterpark. I've climbed in the St. Mary's Glacier area and would at least like to drive up the CD trail there just to see where I was in dead winter on foot but this time go whereever the trail takes me in the lr3 (photo attached in case you ask how the rig is set up - I'm fairly competent as a driver but no expert when it comes to true technical thigns like a winch would be needed for)

I need to do some serious location photography so I am looking for really cool scenery with high altitude views and exposure. I was also thinking of the point to point trails down near Durango-Telluride. I'll be solo though so I don't want to be in anything I can get myself out of with a winch and or shovel.
Seeing as this trip was not orriginally planned to involve any real offroading, my high lift and exhaust jacks are back in NC where I'm heading back to now.

He didn't, but I did. That day we had about 5-8" of snow on that trail and I highly doubt it melted off. In fact, we had snow this past Sunday, so at a minimum that trail has seen two snowfalls so far. Me and one other got as far as the point the trail gets challenging, and weren't getting much further without chaining up. Since I had my family and two young ones with me, I opted to turn around vice chaining up. I'll gladly get myself into a pickle :) but prefer not to do it with the family along.

You can find pics of this trail here: http://forum.solihullsociety.org/cphoto/thumbnails.php?album=36 with the ones from two weeks ago on the last few pages.

I wouldn't recommend this one based on your information.
