Destroyed Rocky Rover

My brother attended a rockcrawling competition near Colorado Springs. He really isn't as big into Rovers as I am, but he said there was this completely restored classic LR there that he liked. So, I am assuming a shorter, defender/Series type. Well, the guy actually took the rover through the rock course several times with no mods and completely didn't avoid the rocks. Ruined the truck according to my brother. What kind of person would do this? Are you on here, was anybody there? You are either the most Badass rich person I have heard of, or a Land Rover hater trying to destroy Rovers from back in the day. Let me know if you're around....Kevin H.

bye bye LR

sounds very odd to me. if a person likes a LR enough to either take the time or has someone else restore it, one wouldn`t think he would trash it.

although I take mine off-highway, I certainly try to be very careful with it although the back door did suffer the first time out. now know firsthand why the tire was raised on the Defender models.

to each his own though.

why why why???? I see no reason for some one to trash a land rover your brother said it went through a few times so he was trying to hurt it any true land rover lover would stop after the first major destruction to the body and whole truck is any one with me on this point??
