Dexron-VI for a D1?

Has anyone used Dexron-VI by Valvolin for power steering fluid?

why not, dextrons are backwards compatible.

The thinner the better for a D2, might be the case with a D1. I used Mobil 1 that is blended for pre Dexron V and I get a moaning on turns as the temperature drops (although its a rare occaision). I believe the later Dexrons have a lighter viscosity. The stock PS fluid for the D2 is thinner to handle the ACE system which I don't have.
