Anyone care to ellaborate on this?

robertf said:Its not just the efi. O2 sensors are all I've really had to replace on my GEMS vehicles, but the rest of the truck just doesn't seem as well built as the 94 95.
The door pocket holders don't hold up, the dash peel is worse on my 96+ vehicles, the seats aren't as padded, the rectangular holes behind the trim pieces on the side of the doors, the audio amplifier is a m-fer to get at.
It's little things, really not much of an issue, a 96 to 99 is still a great vehicle.
I own two 14CUX and two GEMS trucks. Can't say there is any significant difference in amount of maintenance or difficulty in troubleshooting. I'd take any of these on a 3000-mile cross-country trip.Tugela said:Can you elaborate on why this is your preference?
