diagnosing O2 sensors

I picked up the AutoEnginuity ODB software on ebay to help me diagnose a P0304 code that I've gotten a couple times in the past month. I can tell that the O2 sensors appear to be working, based on the fact that the voltage is fluctuating in a sine-wave like pattern. Is there any way to tell if my O2 sensors are "getting tired" based on the data gathered from the sensors?

Generally, O2 sensors either work or dont work. If the voltage is constantly fluctuating, then all is fine.

the code you're getting p0304 which is cyclinder 4 misfire. I *think* that code (for land rovers) is actually means your MAS is toast. I remember something like that... a mis fire code being your MAS.... getting old and can't remember too well. Am sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong

Not sure if a misfire means the MAF is dead or not, but with the O2 sensors if you want to know if they are going bad, just watch the blips on the screen. Normally a good O2 sensor shows lots of spikes and an O2 sensor going bad will start showing some flat spots, even just for a short period ^^^^_^^_^^^_ or it could look like mine... Left front looks great ^^^^^ right front ^^__^^__^^__ not so great... just got 2 new sensors in the mail and changing them this weekend.

Of course the flat spots could be at the top or bottom of the scale.
