The PM-1 puts out 1150 CCA, and the PM-2 is about 850. I think you have an issue in your circuits, not with the battery.

You have probably seen "those" cars with huge stereos where the headlights dim with each boom of the subwoofer. This is what I am talking about. Wet cell lead/acid have better surge current (amps) than AGMs, generalizing. In my case the boat lights used to just dim with the lead/acid batteries at each boom, but now cut out completely with the AGMs.

CCA are measured for 30 seconds. You have to look at the amp hours for continuous power, which are slightly higher with the 34m battery vs my old Interstate 24ms (I looked it up 68 ah vs 50 ah). Then, provide capacity for immediate surges. Yes the boat wiring could be cleaned up, but I didn't have the issue with the old Interstate batteries. The first time I took it out with the new batteries the issue appeared, though its manageable with less hip hop :).

have had a Diehard Group31M for about 2 years in my disco. has been excellent. i have let the truck sit for months and it fires right up.

have left the dome light on for days ect...

winched with the truck off and all the roof lights on and no noticeable light dimming....

I did mod the ground and hook another ground from the neg to the engine block, as well as hook the winch directly to it, easy peasy with the extra terminals.
