who cares about the stupid decal. It was only put in the vehicles to keep the soccer moms from fucking with it. Its too confusing for anyone to follow anyway!

Bwaaaa hahaha

I remember in 2001 when I bought the D1 from the punk P.O.

I got in some sand blown across the road down by the beach, slowed down to a crawl and yanked on the little shifter. The transfer case made the groan-grind-thunk the guy came outta the back seat and about lost his mind.

"Don't touch that!"
"Shit, dude, if the transfer case is seized, I'm not buying it."
"The what?"

After I got the hang of it and the nipple loosened up, all was good. We were pals until he couldn't find the title.

Thanks for the memories.

I know I was horrified when I first saw the super complicated 5 step sticker with pictures. Luckily I got used to it before I crashed the truck.

I ordered the 2004 sticker from the dealer PN BAC001150. They did an availability check and said it was in stock. $10.00.

Thats the decal I posted earlier, NOT the ones fitted to factory CDL equiped vehicles, no one seems to know what the number for that decal is / was, not even Land Rover

I seem to recall that it wasn't available as a separate part. That doesn't mean you can't get it, though. There may be a way.

I figure they are stuck on the consoles from the factory, and that's just how they come. It's not the end of the world, but it's annoying. I sure would like to have one.

Of course, I haven't really tried to get one, either.

Cheers,

Kennith

I tried getting an 04 decal when I installed my CDL. I looked everywhere in the US and UK that I could come up with and always got the same answer. Not available. You can (or could two years ago) still buy a new console for an 04 and get the sticker with it, but I didn't want to do that. I just put on a D1 sticker and moved on ...

The sticker I have ordered is not what I expected. I contacted Luckey 8, I think I can get the proper one from them.

I got my sticker from rovers north, do a search and they list it. Ever since I installed it on the console I've never had to worry about getting stuck. If I remember right there was also this little lever thingy and some cables and maybe a bracket or two that bolted to the t-case. I think the sticker was the most important install though so make sure you get that straight and give r hell boys. One more thing, don't forget the little knob on top, that works pretty good too.
