Yeah, 90 weight smells like swamp gas.
Do it all at once.

The fill and drain plugs take a 1/2" drive ratchet.
Yep, a naked ratchet, no socket.

Have a drain pan ready, and a place (jug) to put the used crap. It'll stink up the neighborhood in no time.

Enjoy.

Take the Rover for a drive to warm the oil up before you drain.
And make sure not to over tighten the drain or fill plugs.

Yes there is a drain and fill plug on the T-case. You need to seal the plugs on the T-case.

You are going to need around 2 qts for each diff.

To actually get the oil in - you can buy a plastic hand pump at any auto store that will attach to the top of the oil jug and make life a lot easier (and cleaner)...

Since you haven't taken the time to read your owners manual all the way through (your question is answered there), I'd suggest doing that before starting maintenance on your vehicle. Then at least get a Haynes shop manual. http://www.haynes.co.uk/webapp/wcs/...10001&storeId=10001&productId=40153&langId=-1
(Unfortunately with a DII you're more limited in manuals)
Or the factory manual

YES!!!

Another (cheapass) method is to take the cone shaped top off a quart of gear oil and place it on a quart motor oil jug. Transfer the gear oil to the little jug (assuming a gallon jug of 90 weight) and squeeze it into the diff like a tube of toothpaste.

Even if you buy your 90 weight by the quart, the motor oil bottle is easier (for me) to handle and aim.

Don't cut the cone top off too short.

Wear old clothes.

I actually replaced my fill plugs with the brass ones that EE sells. Can't remember how much they were, but they are much better than the crappy stock ones.
