DII died and won't start.

Starter cranks just fine but engine won't start.

OBD is throwing p0366. Is this crank shaft position sensor or camshaft position sensor?

Any way to bypass to get home?

As above cps, it may restart once the cps cools, but will die out on you again. So dont go far...

This is exactly right - once it cools down it starts right up - but it shuts down very suddenly after a few minutes of driving. I attributed the first time to some very wet conditions, but apparently wet had nothing to do with it. Stalled again on a gorgeous day 4 minutes from home.

Luckily I was 2 blocks from a buddies house so once it cooled I paid him a visit and swapped in a new CKPS (PITA!), fixed (Hopefully).

btw: I had that code wrong - it was actually p0336

:) good to hear your back up and running...
This is how i acquired a disco 2 a few years ago for 500. Its beat up but its still running. When i went to look at it i said id think about it and came back with the cps... Changed it in the driveway of the sellers house, jumped in started her up to the sellers surprise. Kind felt a little bad but i knew he had pulled out the bulbs for the 3 amgios to hide the dashlights. Price was right i suppose. Would rather have a series 2a on a disco 1 chassis though, series diehard! But meh, discos seem to be, um discos i guess:cool:
