DII fender cutting

I am planning on a two inch lift from Rovertym for a 2000 DII. In your opinions, what is the largest A/T tire size I can install on the stock wheel without trimming the front bumper. I am used to driving trucks(f350,expedition) but would like to cruise the highway with comfort and ease. Thanks in advance. BTW...I have some 305/70/16's.... too much?

Wll rub on turning though, but that size is the generally-agreed-on for the D2, if you have a 2" lift. There is a trick to rotate the L-braket where it rubs, I can dig it up some time if you can't stand the rubbing.
