im sure this has been a topic in the past but im looking for some input and some pros/cons. I have came across a arb bull bar but im not worried about looking cool I just want function!!! It appears to be heavy and a tad on the weak side. The arb has a 9k warn set up that id love to extract and massage behind the grill. I have the wiring and fab covered. just looking for some input on functionality. The stock bumper has already been trimmed and has enough clearence for any wheeling I will encounter.

Have you thought about the Land Rover OEM winch basket? If your fab skill are up to it find one and copy it and custom it to your liking.

I have a complete factory OEM disco2 winch mount that I sanded down and painted. I have been meaning to sell. $200 + Shipping

I used one for years. the downside is it's hard to get to for service.
It only fit the warn 8000 so I enlarged the hole and welded in a plate to move fairlead over for the 9000.

That's pretty cool. I wish I had done a little research before I (as a total newbie) bought an AB brushbar. That thing is right in the way for a discrete winch mount.
